CAPS President, Deborah Howard, Ban from AKC

CAPS founder and President, Deborah Howard, has been ban from the AKC for helping to deceive the AKC by providing information on a deceased Golden Retriever that supposedly sire a litter of 8 pups, to get the litter registered with them. DIrect quote from article on CAPS web site "The AKC imposed a suspension of five years and a fine of $1,000 on the producer of the "Dateline" story. CAPS president, Deborah Howard, who had provided registration information for the deceased Golden Retriever, was suspended for five years and fined $2,000."
