Lisle Among Best Places to Live in Western Suburbs
Western Suburban Living releases its rankings for the top communities to live.
Lisle is among the top places to live in the western suburbs, according to the latest edition of Western Suburban Living Magazine.
Population, home values, education, public safety, and several other criteria figured into the overall rankings. Lisle placed 19 among the top 20 communities. The village also received recognition as having one of the 15 best downtowns, and the most park acres per resident.
Lisle residents are also more avid library patrons than other western communities, averaging 38 items checked out per resident each year.

Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills were declared the top spots to live, with nearby Glen Ellyn coming in a close third.
