Donate Thanksgiving Fixings to Lisle CVB Food Drive

Bring non-perishable food items for the West Suburban Community Pantry to donate to those in need.

“Got Food?” As the holidays approach, the is taking part in a special holiday outreach assisting those in need in our community. Please consider helping DuPage families
by providing non-perishable food donations. The event is an avenue to give back to communities for the holidays and offer service.

The Lisle Convention & Visitors Bureau continues its one-month food drive through Nov. 30. Collection boxes will be in their downtown Lisle 4746 Main Street office, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday-Friday, where members of the community can drop off their donation. Non-perishable food collected will be delivered to the West Suburban Community Pantry just in time for the holidays.

Among the items in demand besides “extra holiday fixings:” canned meats, vegetables and fruit; canned fish; peanut butter; jelly or jam; soups, canned or instant; pasta; rice; cereal, hot and cold; powdered milk; dry beans; baby formula; baby food or cereal; diapers and wipes. All donations are greatly appreciated.

West Suburban Community Pantry is a non-profit organization serving DuPage County. The pantry provides food and personal care items for 4,000 people each month.
