During these hard economic times, the library is a great way to save money; think of all the books, magazines, CDs and DVDs that you can borrow for free! Libraries have continued to evolve with the times, and your library card can be your must-use ticket to even more savings.

Do you have an e-reader, such as a Nook or Kindle? Why buy each book you want to read? The library offers a wealth of free, downloadable books that you can borrow and download onto your e-reader. We offer not only new books and bestsellers, but children’s books, as well. Do you listen to audiobooks when you’re in the car? We have those too!
And you don’t even need to come in to the library to take advantage of what we offer. We have all sorts of electronic resources to give you access to the information you need, whether it’s car repair manuals or encyclopedias. Need to do some research for a school assignment? You can access a wide variety of magazine and journal articles, book chapters, and more – all from your home computer.

Interested in learning a new language? We’ve got BYKI (Before You Know It), an online platform that offers over 70 languages, and is easy to use. Whether it’s French, Mandarin, Russian, or Albanian, BYKI makes it a snap to learn something new.
Maybe you’re trying to come up with activities for your children? Our Youth Services department has storytimes, craft programs, author visits and even gaming sessions!
We also offer free classes, ranging from basic email and Internet skills to Microsoft Word and blogging. Our classes are always fun and informative, and open to everyone. We also offer four book groups, and a film group – no need to sign up, and anyone is welcome to attend.
