In 2011 there was a deadly parvo outbreak at puppy parlor:   ComplaintPet store has 2 puppies that have died from parvo and they have them in the freezer.  There are 130 puppies in the store and there is no heat or water.  The Illinois Department Of Agriculture visited the store.  The owner stated she bought puppies from Tiffany & Nick Menne from Lima Springs, Iowa.  6 of the puppies died and she thinks it was parvo.  Tammy was issued a Humane Care Violation to have a veterinarian examine the rest of the puppies.  60 adult dogs and 45 puppies were observed.

Consumer paid cash for the dog and the dog was sick so she returned it.  That was in June 2012.      She still has not received her money back.

Consumer purchased a dog in January 2012.  The dog was diagnosed with a non-functioning left kidney, two different types of parasites and ear mites.

Consumer purchased dog in February 2012.  Dog was diagnosed with upper respiratory infection and mange.

Consumer, (Cindy) purchased dog in December of 2012.  She was told the dog was 4 years old and Tammy had it at her shop to re-home.  The previous owner was an elderly lady who is now in a nursing home.  When Cindy brought the dog home is started spinning in circles and would not stop.  It didn't know how to drink out of a bowl, could not go up and down the stairs, was afraid of the outside and could not adjust to any room of the house.  Cindy was up all night trying to help the dog adjust.  After several days of no improvement, Cindy took the dog to her veterinarian.  She got some horrifying news.....  the dog is approximately 10 years old, has a tumor on the hind leg, callouses on his belly from sitting in a cage, and had to have FOURTEEN TEETH REMOVED.  Cindy's vet said, " This dog has never been able to be a dog."

After further investigation, we found Tammy Coglianese has been kicked out of the AKC for life:   The AKC’s Management Disciplinary Committee has suspended Ms. Tammy Coglianese, Bolingbrook, IL, from all AKC privileges for life, effective January 7, 2008, and imposed a fine of $5000 for circumvention of her suspension.  (Multiple Breeds) American Kennel Club - January 2008 AKC Board Minutes.  I spoke to the AKC on April 5th, 2013 and they confirmed "Tammy is not in good standing with them".

We have been protesting and educating the public about the horrors of this store since December 2012.  We hold weekly peaceful protests every Saturday from 1:00 - 3:00.  If you would like to join us, please do!  We have plenty of signs and brochures.  We would love to see you there! If anyone has been sold a sick or dying dog from Puppy Parlor, please visit www.caps-web.org and fill out a Pet Store Complaint Form.  Thank you!
