Twice a year, the LCCA accepts nominations of members of the Lisle community who have committed an act in line with the six pillars of character as defined by the Josephson Institute of Ethics. The six pillars are: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Citizenship and Caring.
Pillar Awards will be given out to 7 community members including adults, groups and students. Winners will be announced the week of Nov. 15th publicly.
In addition students k-8 submitted essays and coloring pages in honor of National Character Counts Week, Oct. 18-23rd. Winners taking 1st thru 3rd will be awarded at the elementary and junior high levels this evening as well.

A reception will begin at 6:30 with awards ceremeony to start at 7pm.
