Lisle Woman's Club "Garden Gait" Garden Walk

Seven gorgeous private gardens will be enjoyed during
Lisle Woman’s Club’s tenth annual Garden Gait.  The garden walk festivities will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, beginning at The Museums of Lisle Station Park.  The park is located at 921 School Street just north of the Lisle Village Hall.

Participants can savor tea and cookies in the Beaubien Tavern, one of the museums at the park, browse and buy at the garden necessities booths, and purchase garden enhancing perennials.  The museum buildings,
property of the Lisle Park District, will be open for tours given by members of the Lisle Heritage Society.  Free parking is available south of Burlington Avenue, in the lots west of the Village Hall.

Tickets are $15 ($17 June 24, day of the event).  They
are available at Anderson Bookshops, 123 W. Jefferson, Naperville and 5112 Main St., Downers Grove, The Nook, 4738 Main St., Lisle, Safari Café, College Square
Shopping Mall, 6440 College Rd., Lisle, Weldon Hardware Supply, 4715 Main St., Lisle, Tina’s Closet, 4745 Main St., Lisle, and Wild birds Unlimited, 1601 Ogden Ave.,
Lisle.  Tickets are also available from
any Lisle Woman’s Club member.

Established in Lisle in 1963, Lisle Woman’s Club is part of the Illinois Federation of Woman’s Clubs which belong to the international organization known as the General
Federation of Women’s Clubs.  Garden Gait is the club’s principle fundraiser for a number of philanthropies, including awarding scholarships for local high school students, supplying food for needy families, and helping other causes locally, nationally, and internationally.

Garden Gait is presented with the cooperation of the Village of Lisle and the Lisle Park District.
