Expert Recruiter to Share Trade “Secrets”



To uncover or
create job opportunities in today’s “hidden job market”—in which many jobs are
not even advertised—you need to be more than just better than your competition,
you need to think differently. This according to job search expert and
recruiter Abby Kohut, who will explain how at “Don’t Just Think Outside the
Box, Think Outside of This World,” a free job search seminar at the Lisle
Township Job Club at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 30, at the Lisle Public Library,
777 Front Street.

Also known as
“Absolute Abby” to her clients and devotees of her popular website www.AbsolutelyAbby.com, named one of
the “Top 100 Websites for Your Career by Forbes in 2013. Kohut is president of
Staffing Symphony LLC and author of “Absolute Abby’s 101 Job Search Secrets.”
She has chosen the Lisle Township Job Club as one of the stops on her drive
across the country as part of her mission to spread the “absolute truth” to one
million job seekers about the job search process, secrets she says “other
recruiters won’t tell you.” 



In the past 18
years, Kohut has also worked as senior director of recruiting for Kaplan,
interim director of recruiting for Continuum Health Partners and manager of
global recruiting for Alpharma. She was also selected as one of “The Monster 11
for 2011: Career Experts Who Can Help Your Job Search” and is one of the “Top
