Weekend Weather: Heat and a Slight Chance of Rain

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for Friday. Expect sun and highs in the 80's for the Fourth of July.

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory from noon until midnight tonight. According to the alert, temperatures projected in the upper 90's or higher, combined with increased humidity, may cause heat related illness with prolonged exposure.

  • The DuPage County Health Department shares tips on preventing heat related illness. 
  • The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention provide information on identifying and treating heat related illness.

 

The NWS is forecasting a high of 91 for Saturday, with a 30 percent chance of showers. Expect sun and temperatures in the lower 80's on Sunday and Monday.
