Week In Review: DuPage County Court Cases

Here's a look at some of the cases we are keeping an eye on this week.

DUPAGE:

Burr Ridge: - John Gilbert returns to court on Aug. 2 for what will likely be an another update on his defense team's analysis of computer records pulled by investigators. They are still likely to want to introduce evidence someone other than Gilbert killed Jason Dragos.

Elmhurst: - The Connell trio, charged with various offenses related to a bar altercation, is scheduled for hearing on Aug. 1. Their attorney keeps promising a civil lawsuit is coming, but that's not likely until these criminal cases start to go away.

Glen Ellyn: - "Career Thief" Anne Strezewski/Rego has an Aug. 1 status hearing in her three new felony cases.
- Glen Ellyn v. COD - return to court Aug. 1. The judge is encouraging both sides to work out an agreement on their own, while also coming to court to keep things moving in order to reach a resolution on the occupancy debate over the four recently constructed or renovated buildings.
- Demarco Whitley returns to court Aug. 3 in Cook County as he gets closer to his scheduled trial date.

Lisle: - James Kisla, is scheduled for arraignment Aug. 1 relating to an aggravated DUI, even though he has not been indicted.
