Week In Review: DuPage and Kane County Court Cases

Here's a rundown of court cases that Patch is keeping track of this week.

DUPAGE:
Downers Grove:
- Eric Gilford, who has pleaded guilty to murdering his wife and unborn child, is scheduled to appear for a brief hearing on his pre-sentence report on Aug. 9. His sentencing is set for Aug. 16.

Elmhurst:
- Rocio Garza, accused of leaving the scene of a fatal accident last year, is scheduled for a status hearing on Aug. 9.
- Cheryl Luchetta's divorce case returns to court on Aug. 9.

Hinsdale:

The records dispute between board member Diane Barrett and the school district returns to court on Aug. 8. This hearing at 10:30 in 2009 is supposed to be on the motion to dismiss the case.
- Also on Aug. 8, Timothy Kim - accused of assaulting a nurse at hospital - is scheduled to for a status hearing at 9 a.m. in 4012.

Lisle:
- Murder-for-hire suspect Ladislav Fromelius is scheduled for a status hearing on Aug. 10.

Naperville:
- Clarence Guyton and Brandon Reynolds, two of four men charged in recent home invasion, are scheduled for arraignments this week.

Woodridge:
- Sunitha Budithi, child endangerment, is back in court on Aug. 11 for a status hearing.


KANE:
St. Charles:
- I came across a St. Charles guy who is charged with 13 counts of forgery. Sheriff's police allege he wrote tens of thousands of dollars in checks to ComEd.
