Week In Review: DuPage and Kane County Court Cases

A Darien man charged in the triple murder of his girlfriend's family returned for a status hearing this week.

DUPAGE:
Darien:
- Johnny Borizov, charged in triple murder of his girlfriend's family, is in court July 11 for a status hearing. Most of his recent appearances have focused on defense that codefendant Jacob Nodarse acted on his own. Attorneys for both men have suggested the possibility of asking for separate trials.

Elmhurst:
- Cheryl Luchetta, accused of drugging her son in what might have been an attempted murder-suicide, is scheduled for a July 12 hearing where prosecutors will ask the judge to order Luchetta to undergo a psychological exam. Luchetta's divorce case is also up this week, on July 11 at 9 a.m. in 3002.
- Sandra Clanton, charged with attempted murder, is scheduled for July 13 status hearing.

Naperville:
- Harold Guzman, accused of stealing a lot of jewelry from a car parked at a Naperville hotel, returns to court July 12 for a status hearing. He was set for trial in June, but that was postponed when he hired a new attorney.
- Clarence Guyton and Robert Jackson, two men accused of June 28 home invasion, make first formal appearance on July 14.
- The lawsuit against Scott Huber by Naperville psychologist returns for status hearing on July 11.

KANE:
Geneva:
- Gary Reschke, recently charged with aggravated child pornography, is scheduled for his first formal appearance on July 12.
- Loren Carerra's lawsuit against Coroner Chuck West and two deputies returns to court for a status hearing on July 15.
