Thunderstorms May Be Coming

DuPage County is under a severe thunderstorm warning until 6:30 a.m. and a severe thunderstorm watch until 9 a.m. today, according to the National Weather Service.

Today’s forecast calls for cloudy weather until late afternoon then becoming partly sunny. Widespread showers and thunderstorms are likely early in the morning; then showers and thunderstorms likely late in the morning. A chance of showers and thunderstorms are predicted for the afternoon. Some thunderstorms may be severe early in the morning. Highs in the upper 80s. There will be northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.
