Mosquito Samples Test Positive for West Nile

Samples from a handful of DuPage and Cook communities tested positive for the presence of West Nile, according to a Chicago Tribune report.

 

While no human cases have been reported this year, the Illinois Department of Public Health recently detected West Nile in some DuPage County communities, according to Chicago Tribune.

Positive samples were found in mosquitoes in Lisle, as well as Clarendon Hills, Hinsdale, Westmont, and Woodridge, according to the report.
