Lisle Township to be Sprayed for Mosquitoes Tuesday Night

The spraying is an effort to combat this summer's increased risk of West Nile virus.

Current dry, hot conditions favor the increase of the West Nile Virus in the area. To combat mosquitos that carry the virus, public officials have scheduled mosquito spraying for Tuesday, July 31 for Lisle and Lisle Township.

Clarke has the contract to spray for mosquitoes. The company will start spraying between 9 and 10 p.m. It is expected to take two trucks simultaneously spraying about four hours to cover the area.
