UPDATED: Default Overturned In Jenna Jameson Case

The adult film star has hired a Naperville lawyer to cover her defense, and is working on a possible settlement, according to the Naperville Sun.

A DuPage County judge overturned a default hearing against adult film star Jenna Jameson this week, according to the Naperville Sun.

According to the article her attorney is trying to resolve the issue out of court, though he has also asked the court to dismiss the theater owner's legal team after allegations of attempting to blackmail the actress. Read the full story here.

In June the owner of two local movie theaters — Hollywood Palms in Naperville and Hollywood Boulevard in Woodridge — began a lawsuit against adult film star Jenna Jameson for at two heavily promoted events earlier this year in lieu of attending celebrity blogger Perez Hilton's birthday party.

On July 6, DuPage County Judge Patrick Leston against Jameson after failing to respond to the lawsuit within 30 days of issuance.
