With traditional offerings like lamb cakes, egg cakes and kolackys, picking out what you want to order is going to be tough. But don't wait too long to place your order or you might find yourself out of luck. "Everything we make is handmade, not mass produced," explains John Zydowicz, chef and owner of the bakery. "We use only the freshest, most high quality ingredients. You can get everything you need for your Easter...danish and coffee cakes for breakfast, homemade breads for dinner and cakes and cookies for dessert." Zydowicz suggests placing orders as soon as possible, Thursday at the very latest. Extras will be made and offered on a first come served basis. Special offerings include Lamb Cakes ($25), Easter Cupcakes ($2.95/each), Egg Cakes ($2/each), 6" Round Cake ($16.95), Decorated Bunny Cookies dipped in chocolate ($2/each), Butter Cookies ($11.95/pound) and cheese, strawberry, apricot or prune Kolacky ($12.95/pound).

: Whether you're looking for hostess gift to bring to dinner, creative (and yummy) place card holder ideas, or just some decadent chocolates for an after dinner treat, put Traviata on your shopping list. With offerings like Easter bunny shaped rice krispy treats dipped in white chocolate ($3), bunny, chickie and egg shaped cookies ($.95), gelato cakes and cannolis, there is something for everybody. "I recently introduced chili spiced mango slices dipped in chocolate and orange  peels dipped in chocolate, and they both make a unique treat," says Violeta Karlis, owner of Traviata. "Our homemade artisan truffles and handpainted truffles ($1.95/each or 9/$20) make an ideal hostess gift, or you can even use the little box as a place card holder at the table."  Karlis also suggests gerlato flavors like spumoni, bluberry and Fiore di Latte (cream flavor) as a nice addition to any cakes.  Special orders for Easter should be placed by Wednesday.
