Calling All Girl Scouts: Tell Your Story

DuPage County Historical Museum's exhibit will celebrate the Girl Scouts' 100th anniversary.

Are you or were you a Girl Scout? The DuPage County Historical Museum wants to collect your story and photograph to include in an upcoming exhibit, Girl Scouts Our Promise: Then, Now and Forever, which will open Nov. 5.

Current Girl Scouts or alumnae may visit the museum's Web site dupagemuseum.org, or the museum, 102 E. Wesley St., Wheaton, to pick up a questionnaire. Responses should be submitted to the museum and will be collected and displayed as part of this special exhibit. Visitors who submit a completed questionnaire are also asked to include a photo of themselves as a scout and/or a current photo. Original photos should not be sent because photos will not be returned.

The exhibit will open on Nov. 5, with a reception from 12-4 p.m., and will remain on display until April 30, 2012. The reception is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. Current sponsors for this six-month exhibit include Quality Website Testing and Borter Heating and Cooling. Sponsorship opportunities are still available.
