DuPage County Hounds announce Raymond James as Title Sponsor

Lisle, IL (May 7, 2012) – The DuPage County Hounds, DuPage’s summer collegiate wood bat baseball team, announced today Raymond James, a   financial services holding company, as the team’s Title Sponsor for the 2012 season.   

As part of the Title Sponsorship, Raymond James will provide financial educational opportunities and workshops for the players and their families throughout the season.

The DuPage Hounds(www.dupagehounds.com) will begin play on June 1, 2012 at the award winning baseball stadium on the campus of Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois called the Village of Lisle-Beneidctine University Sports Complex.

The inaugural season home opener of the DuPage County Hounds will be June 1, 2012 at vs the Northwest Indiana Oilmen.  Game time is 7pm but plan on arriving an hour or so early to the stadium at Benedictine University for the “DuPage Hounds On Deck Fun Fest”, a carnival type atmosphere with bounce houses, music, fun and games for the entire family.   Also part of the fun of “Opening Night,” Jamie Lono of NBC’s hit show “The Voice” will be singing the National Antheme.  Season and individual game day tickets are available through the DuPage County Hounds by calling (815) 704-3839 or via the Hounds web site at www.dupagehounds.com

About the DuPage Hounds:  The DuPage Hounds are summer collegiate wood bat baseball team competing in the 8-member Midwest Collegiate League.  The team plays its home games at the Village of Lisle-Benedictine University Sports Complex.  The players in collegiate leagues across the country serve as the top prospects that feed the minor league system of Major League Baseball.  The DuPage County Hounds are owned by Windy City Sports & Entertainment, which owns 80% of the Rockford Foresters Baseball Team, also of the Midwest Collegiate League, a fraternity clothing company called Scotty Gear, as well as other sports oriented properties.
