Waifs and Strays Animal Rescue has adorable cats and dogs waiting for YOU and their new FOREVER home.

Gabby and Kelsey are quite the pair. These two tuxedo cats love to jump after wand toys. They chase after balls and they play terrifically together. They both adore getting petted and rub against your legs showing their affection. Their bond is strong and they cuddle together all the time. Both girls have had all of

their immunizations; and have tested FIV and Feline Leukemia negative. And they both are spayed and have identification microchips. Adoption comes with a free wellness exam with a veterinarian. You can visit the girls at Hand ‘n’ Paw Groomers 4912 Main Street, Lisle located next door to the All Pet Pantry, where you can visit some of our other available animals. It clearly states Puppy (Mill) Parlor uses puppy mills to obtain their puppies: "Certificates of Veterinary Inspection reveal that Puppy Parlor buys from Conrad Kennel in Keota, Iowa which has been cited for violations of the federal Animal Welfare Act by the USDA, including dogs with matted coats and filth. Conrad Kennels had 226 breeding dogs and 27 puppies on site according to its October 22, 2012, USDA inspection report. The store also buys from Oleo Acres Kennel and J.A.K.’s Puppies, Inc., in Iowa – two large brokerage operations that collect puppies from mills and re-sell them. J.A.K. buys many puppies from Wanda Kretzman/Clearwater Kennels in Minnesota, who has egregious violations of the federal Animal Welfare Act reflected on her USDA inspection reports." This, my friends, describes puppy mills. NOT private, reputable breeders. When Tammy puts her dog/puppies in the x-pen, outside, in the grass, behind her store - the puppies spin around in circles, bark and screech, and turn on and attack one another. This is textbook puppy mill puppy behavior from dogs who've NEVER been out of their cages their entire lives. Proof they're puppy mill puppies. The above report also shows a picture of what the back room of the store looks like. Where they had over 100 dogs crammed in cages. They won't let ANY potential customers in the back room. Why? They'll lie and tell you it's an OSHA violation to have anyone but staff go back

The puppies and dogs inside Puppy (Mill) Parlor are NOT rescued dogs. They do NOT hold "Adoption Events." They are NOT a rescue. They are NOT a 501c3 organization. If they were, Tammy Coglianese would have a Tax ID number issued by the IRS. She doesn't have one! They sell sick and dying puppy mill puppies to unsuspecting customers who believe they're being told the truth. They'll tell you anything you want to hear, lie right to your face, in order to get their hands on your credit card. And being "licensed by the Dept of Ag" means absolutely nothing. Puppy mills are also licensed by the DOA. And as if that's not enough, Puppy (Mill) Parlor was listed on the Horrible 100 Puppy Mills in the United States. They're the ONLY pet store in the entire U.S. listed in the report! Google it and see for yourself. Go to a shelter, or a rescue. There are even breed-specific rescues out there. If you're looking for a Schnauzer, Google: "Schnauzer rescue Illinois" and lists of Schnauzer-only rescues will pop up. If you buy a sick and dying puppy from Puppy (Mill) Parlor, you'll spend thousands in vet bills and most likely the dog will die anyway. We've heard from many, many people who've had exactly that happen. If you've purchased a dog from this hell hole, go to the Companion Animal Protection Society (CAPS) website at caps-web.org and complete a pet purchase complaint form.

She supports cruelty and abuse in the puppy mills she patronizes. If she CHOOSES to make a living off of the blood and backs of abused animals, off of lies, fraud and deception - then she also chooses the consequences of her actions. Period. End of story. You can play the martyr and victim all you want Roseanne. You can ignore the facts, and stick your head in the sand. Doesn't make your beliefs truths. Truth is truth, facts are facts, and lies are lies. Puppy (Mill) Parlor is not what I call a "legitimate business." But then again, I guess that's because I have a conscience. And a moral compass. I find…Read More your practice of posting large head shots on this site appalling and yes it's definitely a form of cyber-bulling and possibly putting innocent people's identity at risk. Other neighboring suburbs post the local police reports without the need of a picture. Many local area Patch.com sites post the names , their offense and where he/she was apprehended. That is sufficient. But as I observed under the previous editor, not only did the Lisle Patch allow one to read the names, offenses and location as provided by the Lisle Police. The Patch website also included pictures, ages and addresses of those cited. Thats when the Patch crossed the line. I'm sure you're aware of internet catfishing. You know where one's picture can be lifted and reposted elsewhere without their knowledge or consent. While I am thankful that you do not ask for monies to remove headshots , how can you guarantee the citizens of Lisle will not become victims of these other parasite websites? Yes, these folks may have used poor judgement . But sometimes nice people do stupid things. Hopefully it's a one-time incident. As much as I believe in the First Amendment , I believe a responsible editor balances FOIA with a person right to privacy. Who wants their children , neighbors , minister or potential employer finding one's headshot on a website like this. Especially should the case be thrown out and/or the person is found innocent. If Springfield legislates this correctly I would hope that you could not post pictures and other identifying information unless the person is found guilty.
