Lisle Businesses Can Shred Documents for Free

Five shredding events are planned. DuPage County is picking up the tab.

Lisle businesses with more trash than time have a chance to shred up to 10 boxes of documents free. A document-shredding event will be held on five dates in DuPage County through Sept. 21.

The event is for businesses only, not for residents.The shredding is hosted by DuPage County and is aimed at helping businesses responsibly dispose of waste that might otherwise end up in landfills. All shredded documents will be recycled.

Shredding events for DuPage County businesses will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on these dates and at these following locations, including one in Lisle:

Aug. 24, Ball Horticultural Company, 622 Town Rd., West Chicago.

Aug. 27, Molex Inc., 2225 Ogden Ave., Lisle.

Sept. 10, Greene Valley Woodridge Wastewater Treatment Plant, 7900 S. Route 53, Woodridge.

Sept. 17, Napreville Bank and Trust, 555 Fort Hill Dr., Naperville.

Sept. 21, Pampered Chef, 3N542 Meadow Rd., Addison.
