The first-ever Lisle Ale Fest held on Saturday was a tremendous success, with organizers saying they had to turn down over 200 people who wanted to attend, the Suburban Life reports.
“That was the only downside of the event. We ran out of space and couldn’t accommodate them with [beer supplies],” Lisle Are Chamber of Commerce president Tom Althoff told the paper.
“Next, year we are going to expand the event. We will keep it in the same location, just move a little east.”
According to the paper, proceeds from the event, which featured craft beer, local food and live music, will go to the Chamber, the Lisle Rotary, Lisle Lions, Kiwanis, St. Joan of Arc Knights of Columbus and the Lisle Woman’s Club.
