Excedrin, Other Pills Involved in Voluntary Recall

The pharmaceutical company Novartis advises consumers to safely dispose of several pills.

A pharmaceutical company has issued a voluntary recall for broken and mislabeled pills though no consumers have been adversely affected, according to a report from CNN.

Novartis, which manufactures over-the-counter options such as Excedrin, NoDoz, and Bufferin, are encouraging consumers to return or destroy certain products after reviewing complaints of broken pills and gel capsules, as well as 'inconsistent bottle packaging,' according to CNN.

Which products are affected? "The items involved in the voluntary recall include Excedrin and NoDoz products with expiration dates of December 20, 2014, or earlier, as well as Bufferin and Gas-X Prevention products with December 20, 2013, or earlier expiration dates," the article states.
