Firkin Friday at the Bavarian Lodge

from the Bavarian Lodge newsletter

Join Us for Another Firkin Friday! Starting this January, we'll be tapping a different cask-conditioned artisan brew every Friday night. Dispensed by gravity directly from the firkin, tapped right on the bar counter. Here are the details about next week's upcoming cask... (and be sure to check in with us on Facebook for all of our upcoming events, as soon as they're scheduled.)

Firkin Friday Feature for January 27th, 2012:
SCHNEIDER WEISSE "TAP X": MEIN NELSON SAUVIN WEIZENBOCK A special release from Bavaria's G. Schneider & Sohn! A blonde weizenbock brewed with New Zealand hops! A rich golden and cloudy wheat bock. The aroma reminds you of blossoms, freshly mowed grass, even grapes, gooseberry and kiwi. These intensely fruity aromas are balanced by a malty nose. You feel a thrilling contrast of exotic flowery notes and malty spicy impressions finished by a fine bitterness surrounded by slightly sour fruitiness. A rarity on draft, and even more elusive in this gravity cask format.

No RSVP Required | 21 & Over Only in the Pub, Please.
Casks are Usually Tapped Around 6pm (ish)
Available on a First Come, First Served Basis
