DuPage Medical Group hosted a grand opening celebration for its new medical facility in Lisle.
The three-story, 100,000 square foot facility will offer state-of-the-art cancer treatment, primary and specialty care, an immediate care center and advanced diagnostic services.
The new $39 million facility is located on Warrenville Road, just west of I-355.
Mayor Joe Broda welcomed the group to Lisle and acknowledged the important access to quality health care services the facility will provide. Other speakers included CEO Mike Kasper, President Paul Merrick and COO Dennis Fine. Afterward, attendees were offered tours of the facility. The facility will officially open Monday, Dec. 3.
The medical facility was constructed on one of the last vacant parcels of land along Lisle’s corporate corridor. Lisle officials said it represents a significant development in the community and employs 350 people. Besides providing state-of-art health care services, it will also help increase the economic vitality of the area, particularly important in these challenging economic times, officials said.
