Downtown News Briefs: Chamber Move, Motorcycle Cruise Night, Swearing In of Trustees
Chamber moving, and Downtown Business Council planning year's first cruise night.
- The Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce is moving down the street beginning Thursday. Next week find them at 1111 Burlington Ave,. Suite 102. (The phone number will remain the same.) No new tenants for the Chamber's current space at 4733 Main St. have been announced.
- The Chamber's Downtown Business Council is in the midst of planning a two-wheeled spin on their normal summer cruise nights. This season will kick off May 28 with a hosted by Evviva! and Heritage Harley-Davidson. The DBC is looking for event volunteers! Check for forthcoming details on the events calendar.
- Village trustees Mark Boyle, Cathy Cawiezel and Ed Young will be sworn in to their new terms prior to the May 2 village meeting. DuPage Circuit Court Judge Kenneth Popejoy will officiate the swearing in at 6:30 p.m.
