Crest Lighting Auction Scheduled for Mid-May

The company is still seeking a buyer for the Ogden Avenue storefront.

A liquidation auction for the remaining inventory in Crest Lighting's former Lisle store is scheduled for May, according to a rep for the lighting company.

Roughly 300 pieces from the store at 1600 Ogden Ave. were transferred to the company's New Lenox storefront, said Crest Lighting employee Amy Fimbianti.

A liquidating company will auction the remaining fixtures, scheduled for May 19 at 9 a.m. at the store. Fimbianti stressed the auction isn't like a typical public estate sale; she said they expect retail deailers and other "serious buyers" who were invited by the liquidators.

Crest Lighting remains in ownership of the building, and are still looking for an interested buyer.

Fimbianti added that the company's current Naperville store is only utilized as an electrical supply counter, and at this time do not plan to expand operations in Naperville.
