Friday won't be a normal work day for employees of CA Technologies in Lisle.
Instead, the group will spend the day volunteering with DuPage Habitat for Humanity on the construction of a new townhouse in Glen Ellyn.
For more than a decade CA Technologies has supported Habitat for Humanity.
In addition to fully sponsoring a home each year for a family in need, employees regularly participate in Habitat builds around the world, assisting the organization with their mission to eliminate poverty and homelessness.
Volunteers from the Lisle office will be installing roof shingles and siding.
The Lisle event is part of CA Technologies seventh annual CA Together in Action volunteer program, which enables employees worldwide to positively impact their communities at a local level. Each fall, CA Technologies offers volunteers paid time off to support community projects of their choosing. Last year, employees set a program record with over 1,700 volunteers donating more than 30,000 hours to help community projects around the world.
