Business Brief: Six Lisle Business Eligible for Chase Small Business Grant

Vote through June 30 for the chance to earn Chinn's 34th Street Fishery, Heaven and Hell Boot Camp, Prairie Design Group, or other local businesses a $250,000 grant from Chase Bank and LivingSocial.

There are just a couple more days to help a handful of local businesses earn a chance to win a $250,000 small business grant from Chase and LivingSocial.

The companies are sponsoring Mission: Small Business, a program which will award up to 12 small businesses across the nation.

, Heaven and Hell Boot Camp, Prairie Design Group, and three homes businesses are eligible from Lisle.

Currently, Chinn's Fishery and Prairie Design Group are the closest in votes to being considered for a grant. As of Wednesday afternoon, each business had earned 133 votes.

Voting ends June 30.

Businesses eligible for the grant will be reviewed by a panel of business experts, according to the contest website. Finalists will be evaluated on their management practices, planning, and impact to the community.

The Lisle Park District is also participating in a similar contest through Coca-Cola.  through July 15 to help them win a $100,000 grant!
