Brides Still Needed for ‘Lisle Bridal Mile’

Plenty of open slots remain for brides and their guests to register for the first-ever Bridal Mile in Lisle.

Organizers of the first “Lisle Bridal Mile,” an one-day event designed to turn downtown Lisle into the ultimate destination for a bride’s wedding shopping for four hours, say they are hoping to push bride registration to fill up a large number of open slots still available for the event.

Nearly 50 vendors are participating in the Sept. 15 event, mostly from Lisle, and a wide variety of raffle items are also being offered. Brides participating in the event also receive a tote bag and can bring along two guests for their shopping spree.

“[The event] saves the brides time and energy since they can meet everyone in one day,” event coordinator Mary Kay Vincenti told the Suburban Life. “We are excited and think it’s going to be great.”
