Patch Picks: Picnic Perfect Snacks

The Lisle Park District is hosting a series of free outdoor movies targeted toward both families and adults. But what should you bring to eat?

Looking for a relaxing way to spend evenings? The Lisle Park District is sponsoring two series of summer movies, starting this evening with "Morning Glory." at are targeted toward adult audiences (those under the age of 17 will only be permitted with an adult). On June 14 they'll launch more family-friendly choices—including and Toy Story 3—in Community Park.

Call ahead to make reservations for deck seating at Wheatstack. All seating for Tuesday night movies is lawn (meaning blankets and chairs are a must!). According to the Park District website, picnic baskets and coolers will be allowed to Community Park showings.
