Yule Log/Twig Hunt

 Follow the clues to a festival holiday favorite! The "Yule Log Hunt" returns for its 33rd year. Visitors will get a list of clues to lead them to various parts of the Arboretum to look for the Yule Log. Once found, winter warriors return for a log-sawing celebration, bonfire, caroling by the Frozen Robins singers, and hot cocoa. Dress for hiking and cold weather. All ages. Visitor Center area. December 26: 2–3:30 p.m.

Too little for the big hunt? Join the pint-sized "Yule Twig Hunt!" This event sends little adventurers around to find a Yule Log that is just their size. This drop-in, self-guided activity provides holiday memories for parents and their kids. All ages, The Children's Garden. December 26: 11 a.m.–4 p.m.
