Turn Your Old Christmas Tree into Morton Arboretum Mulch

The village is collecting discarded trees during the first weeks of January.

Lisle residents can recycle their Christmas trees by removing ornaments, tinsel, lights and tree stands and placing the trees at the curb on either Wednesday, Jan. 2 or Tuesday, Jan. 8.

The trees will be collected, chipped and used for mulch at the Morton Arboretum.

Republic Services will collect the live trees at no additional charge.
