'Story of Lisle' Exhibit Now Open at Station Park

A new exhibit entitled "Sustaining Lisle's Heritage: The Story of Lisle's Incorporation" is now open at the Museums at Lisle Station Park.

The Lisle Park District describes the exhibit as "the story of how Lisle became incorporated as a town and some of the early struggles the town's first leaders faced."

Lisle was incorporated in 1956, though the exhibit goes all the way back to the first (non-native) settlement of the area in 1832, the Daily Herald reports.

The exhibit will remain open through Oct. 5. It is running concurrent to a photographic timeline history of Lisle's Main Street.

More information is available at the Lisle Park District website.
