Men’s Chorus Announces Christmas Show

All tickets for the show are general seating and cost $20.

The Chorus of DuPage, a men’s a cappella barbershop chorus, will present its Christmas show at 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Trinity Green Trails, 2701 Maple Ave., Lisle.

The “Celebration of Christmas” concert will feature the Chorus of DuPage singing traditional secular and religious holiday selections arranged in four-part harmony. Special guests for the evening will include “Roxy,” a Sweet Adelines International Quartet that placed 11th in world competition, and a mixed quartet, “The Skinkers,” champions of the Mid-America Barbershop Quartet Expo. Also appearing will be the Wheaton Brass, dancing legend George Zima, flautist Emily Morrison, along with several other talented and fun quartets.

“This is the first Christmas show for the Chorus of DuPage but our new Director Craig Ahlgrim and several newer members have many years of experience putting on very successful entertaining Christmas shows," said Jim Ahlgrim, a member of the Chorus of Du Page, who has been singing barbershop for more than 50 years.
