Girl Scouts Present New Study Results at Navistar Headquarters

A regional Girl Scout chapter found girls lacked role models in science and technology fields in a new study, according to a report from the Naperville Sun.

Members of the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana visted the Navistar headquarters Monday to display Lego Robotics projects and learn about new research conducted related to women in technology, according to a report from the Naperville Sun.

Broda's comments are ignorant, offensive and insulting to all profesional women who have dedicated decades of their lives to their careers in science and engineering. "The world we live in is vastly different from that of even 10 years ago, and up to now, it’s been a world designed by men." said Broda. It certainly has not been designed by men. Women have had HUGE contributions to the design of our world. Young women need to know that anything is possible and need to have women role models to reinforce that idea - what young women don't need are attitudes like Broda's.
