Age: 2-1/2 Years Old

Breed: Domestic short hair-brown tabby mix

Background: Rescue transfer from Chicago Animal Control

Personality: Nala has been at A.D.O.P.T. since March of 2011 and is about 2-1/2 years old. She is in Comm 3. The residents of this small room prefer to be adopted out as only cats. Nala has her own  personality in that she will tell you when she wants attention and when she doesn't. She is waiting to find her special forever home. Don't pass her up - she has much love to give.

Age: 2

Breed: Dachshund / Terrier Mix

Background: Baby was surrendered to A.D.O.P.T. by an owner who could no longer care for him. He has been at A.D.O.P.T. since September.

Personality: Baby was adopted and then returned recently because he and the adopter’s cat did not get along.  Baby is a happy, friendly boy that is housetrained and loves to cuddle.  He can be fearful of other animals and would do best as an only pet.

Breed: Cattle Dog mix

Background: Transferred in from a shelter in Oklahoma

Personality: Outgoing and sweet. Extremely energetic. Will need lots of exercise and training.

Breed: Domestic Shorthair

Background: Found as a stray as a kitten in a box on someone's doorstep.  Returned after four years because of allergies.

Personality: Needs to be only cat in the household. Loves to be petted. Sweet but has an independent side.
