Sen. Connelly sponsoring Recycling Event Nov. 2 in Naperville

Residents of the 21st District can recycle unwanted household items Nov. 2 at a Recycling Event in Naperville being sponsored by State Sen. Michael Connelly (R-Naperville).

The Recycling Event is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to noon at Jefferson Junior High School, 1525 Loomis St., in Naperville.

Local charities and businesses will be accepting gently-used items, and electronics recyclers will be on hand to take old computer equipment, telephones and TVs.  Participants include Douglas Ace Hardware, Elgin Recycling, Goodwill Store & Donation Center, Habitat for Humanity, Naperville Noon Lions Club, S.C.A.R.C.E., and Working Bikes.
