Puppy Parlor, Puppy Mills

A young lady in Tinley Park wrote a Letter to the Editor of the Tinley Junction in Tinley.  At 9 years old, she understands what the CAPS protestors know...what the hundreds of honking drivers feel...but what the Village of Lisle Trustees and Mayor Broda apparently do not comprehend.  Below, with admiration for young Faith's message:

"Think adoption"

Dear Editor,

My name is Faith and I am 9 years old and live in Tinley Park. I am trying to stop puppy mills.

Puppy mills are places where people breed mother dogs and they have as many litters as fast as they can, then they sell the puppies to pet stores. But the puppies are actually very sick whey they come from the puppy mills and some puppies die.  Mother dogs have to spend their entire lives in a cage. So you see puppy mills are very bad. So I'm trying to get the word out to everyone because every year people have to pay a lot of vet bills, they they have to get rid of they're dog so lots of dogs don't have homes.

I think everybody should buy their dogs at shelters.
