Puppy Parlor Protest

Thank you to all the people who educated the public on Puppy Mill Parlor this Saturday! One potential customer went to West Suburban Humane Society, and two people stopped to tell us their stories of the dogs they bought from Tammy Coglianese. No papers were given to both of these people, so they had no idea where their dogs came from. If you have been sold a sick or dying dog from this store, please visit www.caps-web.org and fill out a Pet Store Complaint Form. The picture of the sign is a Petco sign they most likely got from a dumpster. Join us this Saturday from Noon till 2:00 in a peaceful protest to stop puppy mills. We have plenty of signs and brochures. Thank you!

Ida...I am only reading the things posted here and on the blog. I thought it would be nice for people to be able to see this store side of things too. I like to know the OSHA regulation that is referred to in the blog as well. SO maybe you can answer that question for the both of us or will see it on the blog. I believe in shutting down puppy and kitten mills as much as you do but I do not believe in just reading one side of a debate or taking the opinion of someone I don't even know and making it my own. Puppy Parlor has all as far as I know Dpet of Agi reports and a letter from their vet up to back up what she is saying. What do you have to back up what you are saying? I'm not trying to be antagonistic here I'm trying to get as much back up proof from both sides as to what they are saying is all. As I reply on the other Announcement to Laurel...I read what I could find good and bad then visited the store Sunday. I don't think I have to come up yo talk to you while you are protesting because I have also been given a copy of the things you pass out to people by Tammy and it is all the same stuff I have been reading on the net anyway.

Beltane - if you have all the handouts we give to people, then you pretty much have all the facts to back up what we are saying. In case you need more, go to pgs 4 & 5 of the Dept of Ag report. In it, the DOA lists the puppy mills Tammy uses: http://www.humanesociety.org/assets/pdfs/pets/puppy_mills/report-hsus-chicago-pet-stores-2012investigates.pdf And Puppy (Mill) Parlor was listed as one of the Horrible 100 Puppy Mills in the U.S - there's a link in the article where you can get detailed info/list on that hell hole: http://www.humanesociety.org/news/press_releases/2013/05/horrible-100-puppy-mill-report-050913.html The Dept of Ag had 12 complaints about Puppy (Mill) Parlor in 2012 alone. So if Tammy didn't show them ALL to you - well then shame on you for not doing your research! And shame on you for believing Tammy's lies. In 2013 we've talked with many, many people who've bought sick puppies from that hell hole. Some of the dogs died. Now Tammy's lying yet again when she says she's holding recue "adoptions" instead of selling puppy mill puppies. LIES!!! She is NOT a rescue. She is NOT 501c3. She does NOT have a Tax ID# issued by the IRS. They are NOT rescued dogs - they're puppy mill puppies. And that OSHA regulation - ask Tammy about that one. When we called OSHA and asked them if there was such a regulation they laughed at us. That's HER lie! It'll be interesting to see what she produces (or types up??) to show you. Just curious - what does the letter from Tammy's vet say? And what does THAT have to do with anything?? In my opinion - ANY vet who supports Tammy's animal abuse, animal cruelty, and puppy mills is rather lacking in morals anyway, so that doesn't hold much credibility w/me. But I'd be interested in what her vet had to say. When you visited her store - did Tammy show you the back room? If not, why not? Weren't you the least bit curious as to WHY she wouldn't let you back there? People who have nothing to hide - hide nothing. Tammy is a liar! And we can prove it. Aaaaand.....yet you STILL refuse to believe the facts. Sorry, then we just can't help you. None are so blind as those who would not see.

Puppy (Mill) Parlor owner, Tammy Coglianese, thought it would be a good idea to comment on a recent Lisle Patch post - from a bar - at 1am. Rarely are good decisions made at a bar at 1am (draw your own conclusions). The morning after (again, draw your own conclusions) Tammy - like the coward she is - deleted all her vile, obnoxious, hateful comments. We were one step ahead and saved the entire discussion thread. TO READ THE UNEDITED VERSION, INCLUDING TAMMY COGLIANESE'S HATEFUL COMMENTS, CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW. And THIS is the type of business and business owner Mayor Broda and his Trustees support?!?! http://saynotopuppymillparlor.wordpress.com/2013/06/23/tammy-coglianese-breaks-her-silence-and-then-removes-her-posts-dont-worry-we-have-them-right-here/

+Dianne-I have gotten all the Docket Finding Reports and the Initial Investigation sheets filled out by the DOA inspector directly from IL Dept of Agr through the Freedom of Information Act. The Docket Finding Reports are the exact same ones posted on the blog site. So I have read the facts available to me and am going to look up the breeders listed on them whenever I have enough free time to do it. As for the letter from Tammy's vet all his office would tell me because of patient/doctor confidentiality is yes she is a client of theirs and they could not release any other information to me without her permission. As for asking to see the backroom-I didn't as I don't ask shelters I visit to see theirs or any store I shop in as most I would think wouldn't show them to me because of one reason or another. Between work and school I haven't checked out the OSHA thing yet but in my free (whenever that may be again) I will check it out. I agree what she wrote on the Patch is in very poor taste and it doesn't help her reputation out at all. I think you may have a few valid points about the store but from what I have read on here posted by you and others it is not all the whole picture of how the animals in her and her employees care are taken care of nor the whole truth about the end findings by the Dept. of Agri. I will continue to educate myself on this store and others targeted by the CAPS organization. I also saw the "Methodology used by the HSUS for listing Puppy Parlor and they do not breed puppies per the Dept of Agri reports so they shouldn't even be on it. Also she does not need to be 501c3 and have a Tax ID # as no where have I seen her claim to be a non-profit rescue. I know from posting on here in the past I'm going to get blasted for this post because my ideas differ from yours and anyone that does not agree with you all 100% get called names and are put down. So be it I have a right to my ideas and freedom of speech just as you do yet I try to be civil to those I may not totally agree with. Which is something some of you may want to try.
