'The Avengers' in the Park on Tuesday Night

Here’s some of what’s going on in and around Lisle for Tuesday, Aug. 6:

·      It’s the last night for the Lisle Park District’s summer Movies in the Park, presenting, for free, the mega blockbuster superhero film The Avengers! The film is PG-13 and plays outdoors at 1825 Short Street, Lisle starting at sundown (around 8:15 p.m.) Bring a picnic!

·      The Village of Lisle has placed online their pre-application for help with the proposed FEMA buyout for homes damaged by the April 18, 2013 flood. You can now find the complete pre-application here.

·      A note from the Village: Coffee with Lisle Mayor Joe Broda which was scheduled for Tuesday, August 6, 2013 from 9 a.m.- 10 a.m. at Lisle Village Hall, has been cancelled.
