'Lorax' in the Park; Coffee with Rep. Pihos

Stuff that's happening in and around Lisle for July 30.

Here’s some of what’s going on in and around Lisle for Tuesday, July 30: 

·      Free outdoor movie! The Lisle Park District is presenting “The Lorax” for Movies in the Park After Dark at the Station Park (921 School St., Lisle) band shell. The adaptation of the Dr. Seuss environmental parable is rated PG and starts at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night. Families are invited to bring picnic stuff.

·      State Rep. Sandy Pihos, whose 48th District serves a portion of northeastern Lisle, will be holding a free coffee and dessert meet-and-greet at the DuPage County Historical Museum at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. Come for “casual conversations about any topic of interest.”

·      The Lisle Rotary Club meets at 7:30 a.m. at the Lisle Hilton (3003 Corporate West Drive, Lisle) on Tuesday, featuring a classification talk from Rotarian Robert McCarthy. The Club meets weekly Tuesday mornings at the same location with a guest speaker, and all are welcome.
