A Honda generator valued at $2,300 was taken from a construction site on the 400 block of Warrenville Road sometime between the evening hours of Jan. 6 and the morning of Jan. 7, according to Lisle Police. Unknown suspects reportedly cut a chain that secured the generator to a pole on the site. No other information is available at this time.
A resident on the 700 block of Rolling Drive reported criminal damage to property on Jan. 3 at 10:06 p.m. After hearing a loud noise from the front yard, the resident noticed an inflatable snow globe valued at $100 was punctured, according to Lisle Police reports. While the resident reported two vehicles speeding away westbound, no suspect information is available at this time.
Holiday motor safety enforcement effortsThe Lisle Police Department recently released the results of its recent "Click It or Ticket" and "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” holiday efforts. Police issued 60 safety belt citations, and made four impaired driving arrests and three other significant arrests, according to a release from the department.Law enforcement agencies throughout the state participated in this nationwideeffort to get impaired drivers off Illinois roadways during the 2011 holiday season. Blayre A. Nash, 20, of Naperville, was charged with domestic battery on the 2700 block of Weeping Willow on Dec. 18 at 3:50 p.m. Lisle Police responded to a residence after being notified of a domestic disturbance involving Nash and his mother's husband. Nash allegedly cut the victim with a knife, resulting in minor injuries, according to police. He was processed and taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Stephen H. Paiki, 27, of Wheaton, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at the intersection of Ohio Street and Yackley Avenue on Dec. 23 at 12:14 a.m. after being stopped for a traffic violation. He was released on bond, according to Lisle Police reports.
Driving under the influenceKara Janell Lenard, 27, of the 2300 block of Barkridge Court was arrested at 1:55 a.m. on Dec. 16 in the 800 block of North Washington Street and East Ogden Avenue, Naperville Police said. She was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and driving without insurance. Her bail was $3,000. Unlicensed driverFabiola Lopez-Villafuerte, 25, of the 4900 block of Keller, was arrested on Dec. 9 at 2:03 p.m. at West Ogden and Quincy avenues in Naperville, police said. She was charged with driving without a license and without insurance. Her bond was $200. Suspended licensePerry Lee Jackson, 28, of the 2300 block of Blackhawk Drive, was arrested on Dec. 10 at 1:58 a.m. at North Naper Boulevard and East Interstate 88, police said. from the Lisle Police Department The Lisle Police Department recently participated in the Illinois Department of Transportation's Thanksgiving "Click It or Ticket" seatbelt enforcement/awareness campaign. The police department conducted four details starting Nov. 14 and ending Nov. 27. Overall, 91 citations were issued, with 31 citations issued for failure to wear a safety belt when required. Each driver and front seat passenger of a motor vehicle operated on a street or highway in Illinois shall wear a properly fastened safety belt, according to the Illinois Vehicle Code.

An unkonwn person smashed the front glass door of the Verizon Wireless store at 1111 Burlington Ave with a landscape brick at approximately 4:20 a.m. on Oct. 28. The subject removed a 42 inch Panasonic television, two Apple iPhones, and a Samsung Haven cell phone from the business. Several computer monitors were also damaged, according to Lisle Police.
