The DuPage Derby Dames are adding a second team for this months Superhero Slam roller derby bout. The Dames B Team will be taking on the River Demons Roller Girls of Leaf River, Il while the A Team takes on the Dark River Derby Coaliton of Quincy, Il. Both bouts are rematches. The Dames traveled to Leaf River earlier this year to play the River Demons Roller Girls losing 122-38. Can the B Team pull through for a win at home? In November 2011 the Dames were taken down in Dark River Derby Coalition's first win of the season. Will the tables turn giving the Dames their first win of the season? Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Kids 8 and under are free. Available from Brown Paper Tickets or your favorite Derby Dame. 

A portion of the proceeds from the evening will be donated to Almost Home Foundation. Almost Home is a 501c3 non profit ,volunteer run, no kill animal rescue dedicated to rescuing stray and abandoned animals from Elk Grove Village, Addison, Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Palatine, Barrington, Barrington Hills, South Barrington, Inverness, Wood Dale and it's surrounding areas, as well as saving animals from High Kill Shelters throughout the state of Illinois and other states.
