See How You Belong At Lisle Library During National Library Week

Enjoy snacks, activities, and the chance to meet several local groups, including Patch, at the Lisle Library District's "You Belong @ Your Library" event.

Did you know dozens of groups call the their meeting place?

To celebrate National Library Week, the library will hold an open house on Saturday, April 14 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. This year’s Library Week theme is “You Belong @ Your Library.”

To showcase “belonging at the library,” twenty of the groups that regularly meet at the Lisle Library will be on-hand with literature about their groups. Talk with representatives from artist, writing, discussion, and support groups, and think about how the library might help your own group grow and thrive. 

There will be food, photo ops, and a nice leather bookmark being given away. Youth Services will have fun activities for children; and the library’s landscaping is in gorgeous full bloom.
The Cooperative Extension Service will be staffing a Master Gardener’s Help Desk to answer yard and gardening  questions. Come and join the fun on Saturday, April 14th!
