Welcome back, Patch Blogger!

VOTE: Where Do You Take Your Dry Cleaning?

Help Patch determine Lisle's most popular businesses by voicing your opinion.

Patch wants to know who Lisle residents designate their 'go-to' village businesses.

Voting closes at 5 p.m. on Wednesday for ‘Best Of’ Pizza Place. Make sure you’ve cast your vote, and don’t forget to add your recommendations for specialty pies or appetizers. Check back for your most popular choices on Thursday morning!

This week we're taking a break from food and delving into a more service-oriented category: dry cleaning. Face it, some things can't be machine washed. Where do you take your coats, comforters, and dress shirts?

Leo's Cleaners was recognized by Consumer's Checkbook for their service, but we want to know who village residents trust.

Where do you stop?

How to vote
Choose your favorite option from the poll below through next Wednesday morning. For purposes of keeping the contest manageable, only establishments within village limits are eligible.

Then help out your fellow consumer. Make a note in the comments just why you trust this business.

EDITOR'S NOTE: The Best Of series is for-fun purposes only, because it's winter, and kind of boring. Voters are on the honor system. Please, keep comments constructive and friendly. This space is for celebrating who you think deserves to be called the best of the village, and obviously opinions will vary. We have a spot on the site for providing your specific customer experiences, and it's called our Places directory.

About Best Of: We'll be pitting cuisines against each other (do you order your pizza from Evviva! or Barraco's? ribs from Firehouse or John's Rib House?). In addition to restaurants, we want to know where you have your car tuned up, get your hair cut, take your dry cleaning, even picnic.

As always, anyone with questions about the contest or nominations (for future categories, businesses, or service providers) can contact Editor Karlie Baker at karlie@patch.com.

Moved to Lisle in 1975. Working downtown always went to Leo's for my clothes cleaning. Over the years had drapes cleaned and naturally the present ownership continue to use them.
Only once did I go to an oriental cleaners for (thought cheaper cleaning of drapes) where the drapes were shrunk. Never used anyone else again. Evelyn
