LSHS Scholastic Bowl Team Takes Class A State Title

These whiz kids earned the team its second consecutive state honor.

○ Whiz Kids: Scholastic Bowl Team
○ Whiz Kid's School:
○ Whiz Kid's Accomplishment: The team won the Class A State Scholastic Bowl Championship in Peoria—for the second year in a row.
○ Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness: On Mar. 18 the Lions defeated Macomb High School by a score of 352-268 to continue their reign as the top Class A team in the state.  Earlier in the day, Lisle won its pool to qualify for the state match by defeating Litchfield, Petersburg Porta and Warrensburg-Latham high schools.  A decisive victory over rival Chicago Latin High School in the sectional finals sent Lisle downstate.
