Lisle Convention & Visitors Bureau (LCVB) is pleased to announce that Jay Allen has joined the LCVB team as the SMERF (Social, Military, Education, Religious, & Fraternal) and sports sales manager. Allen replaces Larry Slade, who has retired from the bureau after 16 years.

Allen comes to the LCVB with a wide of array of experiences in the CVB and Sports Industry, most recently with the Chicago Southland CVB, representing the 61 south and southwest suburbs of Chicago, for nearly 5 years. While there he covered the Sports, Hobby/Niche, and Consumer Show markets, and was a member of the National Association of Sports Commissions, where he is about to earn the designation of Certified Sports Event Executive (CSEE) this spring.

“Jay brings a wealth of experience and sports knowledge to Lisle,” said Diane Homolka, LCVB Executive Director. “He is a fantastic new addition to our team.”
