Kiwanis Cleans Up Kingston Park
Beautification was the name of the game for this one-day project.
from Lisle Kiwanis
The Lisle Kiwanis completed their annual community project again this year in conjunction with the Kiwanis International one day event on April 30.
The project was designed to help give back to the community while enhancing the beauty and safety of our parks. This year nine members of the Lisle Kiwanis, together with a park district employee, last weekend to clearing brush and debris along the west end of Kingston Park. This year's project followed the emphasis of the club to annually spend a weekend cleaning and beautifying one of the local parks within the community.
Members enjoy beautifying the park to make our community a better place for children. Last year the Kiwanis worked on a beautification project in Connelly Memorial Park, named after former member Robert Connelly.
If you're interested in making a difference in your community you may enjoying joining this philanthropic group who focuses on enhancing our community while making our village a better place for children.
