Is the Primary Too Late for the Prairie State?

By the time Illinois Republicans vote in the presidential primary on March 20, will it matter?

Probably not this year as this may get drawn out for awhile. In normal years, possibly but I don't think it usually matters. Illinois doesn't go against the grain and usually elects the establishment candidate. Plus, this is a blue state, so it's really meaningless in November.

the only candidate is ron paul, the rest have been chosen for us... if you vote for anyone but him you are voting for war, killing people, the status quo.. more of the same.. more taxes, more looting, more criminal government.

Thanks for the comment, guys. As for Ron Paul, perhaps there's a third party aspect yet to get thrown into the mix. I have a history of voting for the contrarian - John Anderson, Jesse Jackson. It makes things interesting!
